This privacy policy ("Policy") describes how EKG Battle ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

Information We Collect

We only collect the following personal information from you when you create an account:

• Email address
• Password (stored as encrypted hash, not in plaintext)
• Country
• Display Name
• City (optional)
• Institution (optional)
• Personal bio (optional)

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To create and manage your account.
• To communicate with you about your account and our App.

Information Sharing

We do not share your personal information with any third parties. Your user identification number is shared with RevenueCat (see below) to process transactions only.

Transactions

We use RevenueCat to process transactions securely. We do not store any of your payment information. Please review RevenueCat's privacy policy for more information on how they handle your data.

Data Security

We take industry standard measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. This includes database authentication and encrypted, secure connections.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as your account is active and for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. When you delete your account, your personal information is permanently deleted from our systems. We may retain certain information where we are required to do so by law, or where we have a legitimate need to keep it (for example, to prevent fraud or abuse, or to resolve disputes), in which case such information is retained only for as long as required.

Data Deletion

You can request the deletion of your data at any time by deleting your account directly in the App: go to Account > Edit Profile > Delete Account. This action permanently and irreversibly deletes your account and all associated personal information, and is not recoverable. If you have an auto-renewing subscription, please cancel it before deleting your account.

If you are unable to delete your account in the App, or if you have any other questions about deleting your data, you may submit a deletion request by emailing support@ekgbattle.com. We will process your request within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Policy on this page.
